Mooring is one of the most common and complex operations onboard. By completing this course the student will be able to identify hazards associated with mooring operations and comprehend all the relevant procedures on safe mooring operations. The course is based on requirements of STCW Section A-II / Table A-II/2, Table A-II/3, Table A-II/4.
Ship Safety Officer (SSO) online course: under the International Safety Management (ISM) code, every ship must appoint a Ship Safety Officer (SSO) who has the knowledge, experience, and skills to look over the important safety issues related to ship safety and crew’s well-being.
Enclosed space entry is considered a potentially hazardous activity on board a vessel.
Upon the completion of the course, the participants will have a thorough knowledge of the regulations of Annex V of MARPOL and be able to identify opportunities for further improving the current garbage management plan and implement actions that can easily ensure compliance and an environmentally sound waste management in harmony with the established environmental standards of the company. The course also includes garbage collection, processing, storage, disposal and record-keeping, using the Garbage Record Book from the person responsible.
