Multirama SA

Multirama has a network of over 80 branches in Greece and Bulgaria and is one of the biggest companies in the field of electronics retail. This example illustrates the way Multirama and SQLearn cooperated to create an integrated electronic environment for training and informing Multirama staff on new technologies, using our product The e learning Suite.

The Challenge:

The technology market is constantly changing, new products are constantly introduced in the stores and so the company needs to keep its staff updated on time, quickly and effectively. The cost of implementing traditional education is high because of the large geographical spread of the stores.

To address this issue the company decided to invest in an alternative which will gradually replace an important part of traditional training and thus lower the training costs significantly, without having to cut staff training.

The Approach

  • E-learning Platform – environment

We created an electronic environment, with logos and visual layout chosen by Multirama, and all employees were given access to it. Emphasis was given to the training of their trainers and their ability to organize Teleconferences but also create educational material and asynchronous courses.

The electronic environment created with The e- learning Suite product incorporated the asynchronous learning platform Moodle as well as the DimDim platform for synchronous training. Hence, the creation of an integrated solution capable of supporting the needs of Multirama and managing of all records, users, courses and classrooms.

  • Working together to create a training plan with the use of the system.

SQLearn in its role as a consultant, worked with Multirama to design models for the application of e-learning based on their specific needs, company choices and the efficiency study (ROI) of the system

  • Working together to produce educational content.

SQLearn’s team worked with Multirama’s instructors to create courses – models of educational content in accordance with the principles of design for electronic equipment.
The courses created were tailor made to fit the staff’ specific needs for training (Webinars, asynchronous lessons, learning applications, products). Courses are still being posted on their platform and made available to staff.

The result

We created an electronic environment for Multirama which host courses, and a series of lessons from SQLearn’s digital library of to train the staff in basic technological skills. The teleconference organized proved to be a very useful tool for staff training at a significantly low cost.
