SQLearn in its role as aconsultantworked with the Sports Journalism Centre on the overall design of the new service, the selection of the model of implementation, the redesigning of the curriculum for e-learning and the design of an e-learning environment.
- E-learning environment – Platform
We created an electronic environment, with the logos and visual appearance selected by KAR, which will provide the new training program to the students choose it. Emphasis is given to training the staff of the Centre who will have responsibility of managing and monitoring the training program through the system. The electronic environment was created via the product e-learning Suite, so that it can support a mixed educational model that combines synchronous (via teleconference) and asynchronous remote education.
- Cooperation in the production of educational content
SQLearn’s team worked with the journalists – instructors of KAR for the redesigning of courses in accordance with the principles and standards of e-learning, and to digitize the existing educational material: tests and activities. The first lessons were posted on the platform and are available to a pilot group of students for study and evaluation.
The result:
We created anelectronic environment for the Sports Journalism Centrewhich gradually incorporates the lessons created as well as a series of lessons fromSQLearn’s the digital library on basic IT skills. KAR will be soon be ready to launch the new service, which is met with much excitement from the students.
